UX researcher, strategist, & creative building efficient and equitable tools and systems.

About

I leverage my skills to make a positive impact, whether it's through designing user-centered solutions, defining and scoping complex problems, or fostering inclusive cultures that celebrate diversity and empower individuals and teams to achieve their full potential.

As a mixed methods user researcher, I combine qualitative and quantitative data into a compelling narrative. From big sky discovery research to evaluative testing, I unearth insights and recommendations that move products and services forward.

I have experience conducting 0->1 product research and development, usability and concept testing, service design, and quantitative survey design and analysis.

I currently work at Asana, helping the world’s teams work together harmoniously and effectively.

I worked at Propel, a social impact software company. As the fifth employee, I played a pivotal role in developing and scaling the Providers app, a free mobile application that empowers over 5 million EBT cardholders to effectively manage their benefits, save money, and generate income. My user-focused contributions were central to creating a tool that helps millions of Americans put food on the table for their families.

In addition, I’ve volunteered as a researcher at U.S. Digital Response, where my work helped government partners improve their COVID communications and iterate on subsidized child care applications. I am a proud AmeriCorps alumna, having served as a VISTA at Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston.

Outside of work, I love…

🌎 Traveling: I’ve visited 19 countries, 25 states, 1 U.S. territory , with many more on my bucket list.

🫑 Cooking: Cooking is a creative act. As former vegetarian (for 14 years!), I aim to craft delicious, nourishing meals.

🇪🇸 Language learning: My love for languages began in Madrid, where I studied abroad in my freshman year of college. I'm fluent in Spanish and currently learning French 🇫🇷.

🍯 Kitchen medicine: Food can be the best medicine. Each fall, I make an excellent herbal honey to keep the colds at bay.
